Patience by Ipswich Gilbert and Sulliavan
27th – 31st October

Gilbert and Sullivan were at the top of their game when they wrote PATIENCE, their sixth comic operetta. This light-hearted rural romp, features dashing Dragoon Guards, lovesick maidens, and rival poets who were the celebrity superstars of the day. At the centre of it all is Patience, the village milkmaid who claims she has never loved anyone (except a maiden aunt, and that doesn’t count!) Featuring biting wit, delightful tunes and splendid songs this is vintage G&S at its frothiest and funniest. It has to be the most poetic musical comedy ever!

Wednesday 27th – Saturday 31st October at 19:30 (14:30 matinee on Saturday)
