Runaway Minds: An evening with Dan Keeley and Bon Collins
17 May

An evening with Dan Keeley and Bon Collins talking mental health, channelling adversity and harnessing the power of running and creativity to inspire others.

6 years ago Dan Keeley was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Now he’s recently completed a 1250 mile solo & self-supported running adventure from ‘Rome To Home’ to share his story and keep more men alive by talking! Dan’s journey has taken him from full-scale mania to the depths of depression, to being fully alive as he undertook this remarkable adventure-challenge to show others that with the right love & support, anything can be achieved. With his infectious energy and inspiring insight, Dan will be taking you on the full journey of recovery leaving you uplifted and planning your next adventure in no time.

Under cover of The Distressed Artist Bon Collins quit the day job and took up art full time in April 2017. Bon’s journey started some time before this when an accident caused her to need to learn to walk again and running became a focus. Her frank accounts of life with PTSD have seen her listed as one of the 10 most inspiring women on social media in East Anglia, using her story to inspire and give hope to others, no matter our circumstances.

If you are passionate about running, mental health or just want to feel inspired then this is an event not to be missed.
