We are sad to announce that due to personal circumstances, Hannah Jane Walker is now unable to headline the festival on Wednesday 17 October.
However we are delighted to announce that poet John Osborne will be taking Hannah’s place on the Seckford Theatre Stage.
John Osborne writes poems, stories and scripts, and has performed his poems on Radio 1, Radio 4, 6Music and XFM. He has written for TV and radio, and in 2015, After Hours, the show he co-created was broadcast on Sky 1. His latest poetry collection is called No one cares about your new thing.John has performed at festivals including Latitude, Glastonbury, Bestival and the Edinburgh Fringe. He has had poems included in anthologies including the 2013 Forward Prize, Popshot and Fuselit.
Luke Wright creates inventive poems with loads of heart. Part Essex wide boy, part dandy fop, he writes from the sidelines about small-town tragedies and national farce, then performs his work with snarl and spit.
